About Us

Kamrose Labradors is a premier breeding program for standard labrador retrievers.

“We believe in the power of family.

As a mom, I know nothing prepares a puppy for life with a family better than being part of one. My kids (from tiny to teen) are involved in every step. They help with ENS & ESI and assist with puppy handling & socialization activities.

Without them, my breeding program wouldn’t be where it is today and for that I’m forever grateful. Fun fact: I actually came up with the name Kamrose after playing scrabble with my daughters (using the letters from their first and middle names).

I pride myself on breeding & raising puppies for REAL families, just like mine. I make sure my puppies are adaptable, well mannered and patient. Which is why I keep my program small and specialized (family dogs) so that I can give every single puppy the attention and love they deserve.

I’d love to help you find a puppy that is a good match for your family and lifestyle. Checkout the Upcoming Litters page to see the litters I have planned this year. And, if you have questions about my program, please feel free to contact me.”

Puppy Raising Protocol

We use a variety of socialization and puppy curriculum methods. Here are the 4 mains ones we use in our program to prepare puppies for a life with your family.

ENS & ESI

During days 3-16 of the puppies life, puppies are exposed to a set of tailored experiences. This will help them be confident when being exposed to new sensations and smells.

Puppy Handling

Puppies are gently handled from the day they are born. This helps them become more trusting of people and calms their nervous system down when they are being touched.

Socialization Exercises

Puppies continue to exposed to new items, situations and sensations well past the ENS/ESI stage from ages 3-16 days. This is to strengthen their confidence in the world around them.

Volhard Puppy Temperament Testing

Each puppy will be evaluated around 5-7 weeks for personality traits and temperament. This helps find the best puppy match for adopting families.
